we are happy that the changes have addressed the main concerns with our manuscript. We were hesitating to give a return loss earlier, as the photon counting rate was fluctuating quite significantly.

However, we agree with the referee that at least an order-of-magnitude estimation is useful, and added a short paragraph at the end of Section IV:

"The detection rate at the probe detector was fluctuating around 10^5 s^−1. With the emission rate of R  ≈ 3.3 × 10^13 s^−1 , this corresponds to a  return loss of 80 to 90 dB in that experiment."

The uncertainty in the loss is significant, but we agree that this should allow a rough comparison to existing and perhaps future demonstrations of this technique.

For convenient reference, we added a diff file to the submission set to highlight the change at the end of Section IV as well.

We now hope that with this revision, we have addressed the remaining concern, and look forward for your decision.
