3. Reference at bottom of figure caption 4:
Reference should be made to both partial figures 2(a) and2(b); the sentence
should read:
"...reflection and transmission spectra [Fig. 2(a) and 2(b)] are shown in gray."

4. removal of solidus in line 184-185:
We actually were referring to the single resonance of the joint system formed
by the atom and the cavity, and have therefore chosen the wording "...far away
from the atom--cavity resonance". The replacement "...far away from the atom
and cavity resonances" implies two different resonances, which, in this
coupled system, is less precise. As there should be two resonances (which
overlap in figure 4), maybe the best wording would be:
"...far away from the combined atom--cavity resonances".

5. Reference [18]:
There are two problems with this reference:
5a: The year. This was work published in 984, not 1984.
5b: The publication location was  at the court of some emperor in Baghdad (see
e.g. http://www.historyofinformation.com/expanded.php?id=2413).
Unfortunately, we have no idea who the publisher was, or if that concept even
existed at the time. But more explanations, and an actual reproduction can be
found in the following reference [19].
My suggestion would be to either refer to it as follows:
[18] I. Sahl, "On Burning Mirrors and Lenses", Baghdad 984 (publisher
unknown); see also [19]

Alternatively, references 18 and 19 can be combined, like:

It is maybe a bit silly, but the iconic figure shown for that old reference is
